Seventh annual Chinatown Music Festival on Saturday

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON)—The seventh annual Chinatown Music Festival is on Saturday in San Francisco’s Portsmouth Square.

The festival will have contemporary and traditional music as well as performances.
Local and international performers will be there including composer and pianist Jon Jang with spoken word artist Amanda Kemp, the Portsmouth Square Dance Club, Los Angeles-based artist Gingee, chamber ensemble Melody China and the San Francisco Guzheng Music Society.
Maggie Wong will emcee the free event that goes from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Beginning Thursday, November 15th. Niu Gu will debut its new later evening “8 Dishes”

The menu, by Chef Jimmy Li with new, exciting dishes will be served from 8:00 pm to midnight 7 days a week and reservations are by text only.
