Chinatown Boston: NSTAR making improvements to electric service in Chinatown

NSTAR is working to make improvements to electrical service in Boston’s Chinatown neighborhood. The work, which is taking place at the intersection of Harrison Avenue and Beach Street, is part of NSTAR’s ongoing commitment to providing reliable electric service.
NSTAR’s work at Harrison Avenue and Beach Street in Chinatown began August 18 and is expected to continue through Sept. 16. Construction crews will occupy a portion of the roadway, typically leaving the remainder of the road passable to motorists.  Police Details will ensure proper traffic flow and safe operations. General work hours are 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
NSTAR appreciates the patience and cooperation from area businesses and residents as these improvements are completed. For more information on the work in Chinatown, please…….. read more
