19,952 Origami Lanterns Set Guinness World Record in Manila Chinatown

Philippines leaves a mark once more as it set another world record.

This time, the nation got the got the Guinness World Records title for showing the most number of origami lights at Megaworld’s Lucky Chinatown in Binondo, Manila.

Affirmed by Guinness adjudicator Christelle Betrong, the origami light show is made out of 19,552 origami lamps. This was bigger than the record set not long ago by Hong Kong for the biggest presentation of origami stallions, which had 11,817 horses.
